While I was pruning my plum trees, Light of a Clear Blue Morning by Dolly touched my soul bringing tears of reflection wrapped with the possibilities of tomorrow.

Step 3- let in the light.

This step requires knowing your tree type: Stone fruits have a center core with a thin edible outer-membrane (peach, plum, cherry) Pome fruits have a tough edible membrane covering the core of small seeds (apple, pear).

Drupe fruit have a hard shell that contains seed (Almond, pecan)

Like trees, God made us different to produce a variety of spiritual fruits that make an ecosystem. Some of us are tougher than others, but all of us are a little nutty. How are we letting the light into our lives? For me it’s staying tethered to God by recognizing and giving thanks for the blessings all around us. This keeps me ”Livin” in the moment verses depressed looking at the past or anxious worrying about tomorrow. “Blessing refractions“ allow us to absorb then bend the light towards others. I’m so grateful for the amazing people God has brought into my life that are beams of light!
