Finding purpose in the path that’s already been paved

I continue to ask: What do you want me to do? What’s my purpose?

Then He reminds me:

“I am the way and the truth and the life…” — John 14:6

Not a way.

Not one of many options.

        The Way.

Purpose Isn’t Something You Find—It’s Something You Follow…

Purpose can feel like a moving target. But what if purpose isn’t something you have to hunt down?

What if it’s something that unfolds…

when you walk your faith in Him?

For me that’s starting to look less like “figuring everything out”

and more like showing up with what’s already been placed in our hands.

• A voice that can sing → use it

• A story that can help someone → share it

• A skill that can serve others → offer it

Because the truth is—

our gifts were never random.

They were assigned.

There’s a song that’s been flowing through my soul:

“All to Jesus, I surrender…” — I Surrender All

Not perfection. Just surrendered.

And maybe that’s the missing piece.

We’re trying to optimize our purpose…

when God is asking us to surrender all.
