Popeye Livin’

According to the 2021 Farmers Almanac, spinach should be planted this weekend 2/20-28 for zone 7 (TN and North AL). During these challenging times I thought about a Hero of mine Livin’ the life lessons Popeye thought us:

Eat yer spinach: When you Google spinach, it states that its main nutritional element is iron. And when you Google iron, it shows it can symbolize inner strength and the will and determination to see things through to the finish. Popeye provided us many examples of the cardinal virtues: prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance. We are going through uncertain times and it’s spinach planting time, so let’s focus on fortitude.
