Livin’ Beyond the Border of Fear

A wise woman shared with me that fear creates the border of our lives as we know it- where what’s familiar ends and what’s possible begins. It shows up like it’s your protector. The voice of fear says things like:

“Stay where it’s safe,” “Don’t take that chance. Don’t step out.”

And before you know it, you’re fenced in—held back by something that feels like caution, but is really just limitation in disguise.

And the thing is, what we give our attention to, God hears as our intention. What if we think of fear as a weed in the garden of your soul. It wraps itself around the dreams God planted in you, choking them out before they can bloom. When you place your attention on the can’t/complacency, you are living in harmony with fear. Shifting your attention to growth, expansion and possibilities expands your border to livin’ a fulfilling life!
