Last week in west TN we had snow and ice that once again kept us on lock down at home. How can something so Treacherous be so beautiful? We are a hockey family, my son started playing 24 years ago and the grandsons have continued the tradition. In hockey there is a tactic called icing the puck when a team is a man down due to a penalty and need some relief. The cardinal virtue of Prudence is the ability to discern the appropriate course of action to be taken in a given situation at the appropriate time. Also, described as wisdom. One of my fathers favorite quotes: start where you are at and use what you got to get where you are going. The challenge is as stress goes up intelligence goes down, so we have to discern what’s controllable in the moment and let go of the rest hence kairos livin. Keep me in the Moment by Jeremy Camp is a great reminder of Prudence....

Give yourself grace, it’s ok to ice the puck😊
