Livin' Underground

About 5 years ago my husband and I bought the most wonderful property in TN. While it was less than 15 acres it had pastures, woodlands, artistic rock formations, wet waterfalls and a creek. Our goal was to build a large house by the creek, but our family suffered several great losses (I'll share more later) that prevented us from building what we thought would be our dream home. One summer Sunday afternoon we were sitting on the front hillside looking over our land and my husband said, " we could build an underground house in this hill and have this for our view". I asked him how much it would cost and he told me 80K, so I said, "let's do it". Two years and 200K later, we moved into our underground home and started the beautiful journey of kelly creek livin' .
