Purple Martins are members of the swallow family, and travel roughly 5,000 miles twice a year to South America—mostly to Brazil. What’s even more incredible is that they return to the same location year after year. Purple Martins consume up to 50% of their body weight in insects each day. Just imagine—a 200 lb man eating 100 lbs of food daily! 😳

Matthew 6:26

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.”

Every morning, the Purple Martins I watch are a living, breathing reminder of this truth. They don’t worry or fear. They simply soar—graceful in their acrobatics, joyful in their song—fully immersed in the abundance God provides.

Trust is difficult because it asks us to let go of control in a world that constantly tells us to hold on tighter.

As I was writing this, the hymn Only Trust Him

started playing on Pandora’s Country Hymns Radio. Some call these moments God winks.

Trust unlocks the door to make room for abundance because it aligns our hearts with the truth that God provides limitless provisions that flow from grace.

God wants to bless us with abundance.

Philippians 4:19 (NIV)

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

This reflects the Law of Supply:

When you create space and align your life with purpose, the resources you need will come.

Recently I was introduced to the Red Clay Strays. Their song God Does says, “When you can’t, God does.” And that’s really the heart of it all.
